"Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isaai; aapas me sab bhai
bhai", this is what I learned when I was a kid. But, as I grew up I saw
different world all together. A world governed by the religious warlords,
manipulating innocents to kill on the basis of religion; and the irony is, that
people do. We forget all the teachings that were taught. We forget phrases like
"unity in diversity". Why? Because somebody with a “long beard”, or
somebody with a “teekah” on his forehead; promised us a place in heaven. And in
our conquest to heaven, we’re making our world and our lives HELL. From ‘unity
in diversity’ we've started to follow, ‘those who do not follow your God must
be killed’. In the name of peace bloodshed is supported. ‘There is one GOD’,
doesn't apply anymore. And this war never ends, previously it used to be on
roads once in a while but now we have social media to support the cause. If you
go to a religious page on facebook or any other social media, I wonder if you
find any teachings. All you would see is people abusing the religions and their
followers. And they abuse the synonyms of ‘The One’.
I don’t understand what is wrong with the generation. In
what direction we are heading. I am worried, what are we going to teach the
coming generation? Do we want them to be born in a battlefield, or we'll make
the world a better place, a peaceful place for the generations to come. I’ll leave
it on you to answer it for yourself. We have to understand, WE ARE ONE.
Strongly Agreed with your post... Superb :)
